The Deutsche Symphonie-Orchester Berlin successfully completed its 2025 China tour in September. Under the baton of conductor Patrick Hahn and featuring Fazıl Say, the orchestra delivered five remarkable concerts at Shanghai Oriental Art Center, Chengdu City Concert Hall, Tianjin Grand Theatre, and the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing. The tour program included Felix Mendelssohn's overture The Fair Melusina, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 21, and Ludwig van Beethoven's Symphony No. 7. Additionally, the orchestra presented an exclusive program for Shanghai audiences—a special tribute to Beethoven, commemorating the 255th anniversary of his birth, featuring his Coriolan Overture, Piano Concerto No. 3, and Symphony No. 4.
