From 18-22 November 2021, the Vienna Philharmonic returned to Egypt in its 179-year history, after their tour back to the Arabic country in 1950.

Led by the Italian conductor Riccardo Muti, the orchestra opened the new concert hall of the City of Arts and Culture in the new administrative capital of Cairo, delighting the Egyptian audience with their excellent skills and tradition of European classical music.

Represented the tour by Wu Promotion, we would like to take this opportunity to thank the Orchestra, our Egyptian partners as well as our team members for their hard work and dedication which have made possible this unique and meaningful event.

The trip to Egypt was challenging and full of adventurous situations due to the pandemic, but through all joint efforts and mutual understanding of the cultural differences, the concerts were a complete success.
