During the last weekend of August 2021, Wu Promotion presents a special HD Screening Weekend with 5 screenings including 2 distinctive dramas and 1 musical.

THEATERTREFFEN IN CHINA·2021 SPECIAL EDITION

With the vision of presenting the best of German language theatres, Wu Promotion, in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut China, present the "Theatertreffen in China·2021 Special Edition". Maria Stuart and Tripping Stones State Theatre are presented at Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center on 27-29 August. In December, these two plays will also come to Guangzhou Opera House and Hangzhou XIXI·LIVE.

For this screening activity, we have also invited Chinese theatre critic Peng Tao and theatre director Wang Chong to give four pre-show talks, helping audiences understand the two pioneering works better.
