Continuing the success of the 1st Mariinsky Festival in China initiated in 2016, Wu Promotion has consecutively presented it for the 3rd time in 2018. Mariinsky Theatre conducted by Valery Gergiev, premiered on 2 and 3 August their splendid opera by Sergei Prokofiev War & Peace at the Guangzhou Opera House.

The romantic love in the first act of the "peace" and the fierce battle in the second half of the "war" were perfectly expressed by the artists.

The powerful lineup of "War and Peace" is the treasure of the Mariinsky Theatre that attracted the unanimous ovations of the Chinese audience: Superb! There is no doubt that the Mariinsky Theatre is an excellent company all over the world. The features of the opera were exquisite, rich and inspiring.
