2015 Wu Promotion Programme book published

In 2014, Wu Promotion is expanding their platform for promoting the performing arts as well as developing its international brand.

In 2015,We would like to share with you our 2015 programme book which includes classical music, dance, drama and opera, all kinds of art experiences,presented by 45 excellent art groups and over 3000 musicians and artists that we have carefully selected for audiences in China and abroad. We would also like to give you an exciting sneak preview of 2016 and 2017. The programme book includes classical music concerts by the Staatskapelle Dresden, the Basel Symphony Orchestra, the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, the Wiener Symphoniker, and the Wiener Philharmoniker etc., as well as dance, theater and opera performances by the Eifman Ballet of St. Petersburg, the Martha Graham Dance Company and the Komische Oper Berlin. Together with the Austrian Tyrolean Festival Erl, Wu Promotion will present classic Wagner operas such as Der Ring des Nibelungen, Tristan und Isolde and Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg. In addition, Wu Promotion looks forward to a star-studded new chapter with performances by world-renowned conductors Christian Thielemann, Dennis Russell Davies, Kent Nagano, Alexander Dmitriyev, Jukka-Pekka Sarasteand master musicians, such as Mischa Maisky, Frank Peter Zimmermann, Gerhard Oppitz, Rudolf Buchbinder and Roby Lakatos.

The China Philharmonic Orchestra, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, Beijing Symphony Orchestra, Macao Orchestra and other groups will take the best of Chinese Culture to the international audience. For the 18th Grand Chinese New Year Concert, the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra, led by Artistic Director Wang Fujian, will perform Chinese traditional music for audiences in Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Germany. Besides, Jingju Theater Company of Beijing will make its new tour on the European continent, staging performances in three different cities across Switzerland, Germany and Russia.
