To celebrate the Sino-French Year of Cultural Tourism and the 60th Anniversary of Sino-French Diplomatic Ties, the China National Symphony Orchestra embarked on a three-city tour of France from October 9th to 15th, which concluded successfully. The tour was conducted by the renowned conductor Tan Dun, who collaborated with the young suona player Liu Wenwen, the Bulgarian violinist Liya Petrova, and the French violist Lise Berthaud. With the theme of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, the orchestra performed classic musical works from both China and France related to birds, nature, and the environment. Together, the artists from the two countries played in harmony and shared wonderful stories.
