From 22 April to 19 May, Ballet de l'Opéra National de Bordeaux launched its 2024 China Tour.
From 22 April to 19 May, Ballet de l'Opéra National de Bordeaux launched its 2024 China Tour. The tour lasted 29 days, covering 4 cities, presenting two ballet classics -"The Sylph" and "Don Quixote" (Act III) to nearly 7,000 audiences at venues including the Bay Opera Of Shenzhen, Shaanxi Opera House, Shanghai Oriental Art Center And National Centre For The Performing Arts.
2024 marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, making the Bordeaux National Opera Ballet the first French dance troupe to tour China this year. In addition to performances, the troupe conducted exciting outreach activities such as open rehearsals, master classes, and cultural exchanges across various locations, enhancing cultural exchanges between China and France.
