From November 30th to December 18th, 2023, Yuja Wang realized her 2023 China tour, performing in 9 cities over 19 days, including Suzhou Poly Grand Theatre, Jiangsu Centre for the Performing Arts, Shanghai Oriental Art Center, Xinghai Concert Hall, Shenzhen Concert Hall, Xi'an Chanba Poly Grand Theatre, Changsha Concert Hall, Wuhan Qintai Concert Hall, and the National Centre for the Performing Arts.

This was Yuja's first recital tour in China. For this tour, she chose a set of repertoire different from her previous style, hoping to bring more of her latest musical inspiration and thoughts to audiences across the country. Yuja personally interpreted the theme of this tour as "love, illumination, improvisation, and nostalgia. Through numerous struggles we find peace and strength." The programme began with Messiaen's "Le baiser de l'Enfant-Jésus" and "Regard de L'Esprit de joie" followed by Scriabin's "Piano Sonata No. 7" and Debussy's "L' isle Joyeuse" . The second half returned to the classical, performing Chopin's "Ballade No. 4" and Beethoven's final "Piano Sonata No. 32." With exquisite performance technique and profound ideological dimension, Yuja presented a series of exhilarating musical feasts.
