Another one of the resident musicians of Wu Promotion Master Series, cellist Mischa Maisky is a top musician since the 1980s. From October 13th to 22nd it was the first time Maisky performed on the stage together with his son Sascha Maisky and daughter Lily Maisky.  

The Maisky Trio performed in the National Theater and Concert Hall of Taipei, at Dalian Theatre, at the Shenzhen Concert Hall and in the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing. The concert in Dalian was an important part of “20th China Shanghai International Arts Festival” during which Maisky also held a master class for young local musicians. The concert in Beijing together with Beijing Symphony Orchestra was a part of its 2018-2019 season. Conducted by Maestro Lihua Tan, Maisky Trio collaborated with the orchestra on two programs, Dvořák Cello Concerto in B minor and Beethoven Triple Concerto in G Major.
