Ticket Information Biography Gloria Campaner is considered by the public and critics as one of the most talented young Italian pianists of the new generation. She made her debut as a soloist with the Venetian Symphonia Orchestra at age 12. Starting from her very first year of studies, she has won the 1st Prize in more than twenty national and international piano competitions for young musicians. Her rapidly advancing career as a soloist with Orchestra and as a chamber musician has led her to many concert performances in Italy, other European countries, South America and Asia. Ms. Campaner was Silver Medallist at the Paderewski International Piano Competition in 2010, at which contest she also received the ‘Paderewski’ and ‘Chopin’ special awards, given by the “F. Chopin Foundation of Paris”. She was also 1st Prize Winner and ‘Prokofiev special award’ at the prestigious “2009 Ibla Grand Prize”, and made her debut at Carnegie Hall in New York City on a whirlwind tour of the USA in 2010. Selections of her concerts have often been broadcasted by international television and radio stations, such as RAI, Radio Classica, SKY Classica, RTSI and CNN. She has recorded for the Italian label Audionova, Meister Musica Bern and Farsight Records”. Gloria is also very active in chamber music, especially in violin and piano duos. She has worked with many distinguished chamber musicians including Ana Chumachenco, Massimo Quarta, J. Rissin, I. Gitlis, S. Accardo and members of the Tchaikovsky trio. As a teacher Ms. Campaner has been invited to give public master classes and lectures at many important institutions. In October 2009, Ms. Campaner was awarded 2010-2011 European Ambassador for Culture as part of the Piano, Reflet de la Culture Europèenne cultural program. Gloria is an official Steinway & Sons Artist.
