In addition to his activities as soloist, his love for chamber music has regularly led to performances with other eminent musicians. For many years Cédric Pescia has been working in close collaboration with the violinist Nurit Stark, and the duo is under the patronage of the Forberg-Schneider Foundation.. He is also a founding member and artistic director of the chamber music concert series Ensemble enScène. In 2005 and 2007 he served as a jury member in the Clara Haskil Piano Competition in Vevey. In 2007, Cédric Pescia was honoured with the Prix Musique de la Fondation Vaudoise pour la culture. He was also a prizewinner at the Bourse de la Fondation Leenaards in Lausanne. In 2002, Cédric Pescia won the Gold Medal at the Gina Bachauer International Artists Piano Competition in Salt Lake City, USA. Cédric Pescia has an extensive list of recordings for Claves Records, all of which have been unanimously acclaimed by critics. These include Bach's Goldberg Variations, Schumann's complete works for piano solo and Beethoven's Piano sonatas. Cedric Pescia has studied with Christian Favre, Dominique Merlet and with Klaus Hellwig. He has studied with many piano maters including Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Daniel Barenboim, Ivan Klansky, Irwin Gage, Christian Zacharias, Ilan Gronich and with the Alban Berg Quartet. From 2003 to 2006, he was invited to the International Piano Academy, Lake Como, where he studied with many great pianists including Dimitri Bashkirov and Fou T’song. He regularly gives master classes in Europe and the United States, particularly at the prestigious Accademia Pianistica Internazionale “ Incontri col Maestro” in Imola, Italy.
