Among the best Italian musicians of their generation, Francesca Dego and Francesca Leonardi have been performing together worldwide for the past ten years with repertoire ranging from Baroque to new music. Following the successful release of Francesca Dego's recording of the 24 Paganini Caprices for Deutsche Grammophon, the Duo has started recording the complete Beethoven Violin Sonatas, the first volume to be released in spring 2014. Their previous CDs together (SiparioDischi and WideClassique) have been highly praised as well as their world-premiere recording of Nicola Campogrande’s violin and piano music. Selections from their second recording have been included in the sound track of the 2008 film by prize-winning director Steve Kroschel “The Beautiful Truth”.

Recent highlights have included performances of Mendelssohn's Double Concerto in the UK (Peterborough), Argentina (Festival Semana Musical LLaoLLao with Ensemble Estacion Buenos Aires), and Italy (I PomeriggiMusicali Orchestra in Milan), recitals in Austria, Lebanon, US, London's Royal Albert Hall, “Les Flâneries Musicales” festival in Reims and the Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires along with extensive touring in Italy's most prestigious venues.
