From 4th to 18th June, Martha Graham Dance Company visited the National Centre for the Performing Arts, Shanghai Poly Grand Theater and Guangzhou Opera House with three profound works: Appalachian Spring, Immediate tragedy and Canticle for Innocent Comedians, the first international dance company to complete a China tour in 2023. For nearly half a month, dancers presented the unique charms of Martha Graham to nearly 5,000 audiences, and the tour was a resounding success!
