From 22-25 November, four 8K LIVE SCREENINGS, co-organised by Wu Promotion and Xinghai Concert Hall, were successfully held at Xinghai Concert Hall in Guangzhou. The four legendary concert recordings were the first in the world to feature 8K quality and 22.2ch multi-channel surround sound, recreating the greatest moment of conductors: Herbert von Karajan, Leonard Bernstein and Carlos Kleiber. More than 1,000 spectators spiritually returned to the golden age and were at the concert scene that year.
The 8K LIVE SCREENINGS is a precious opportunity to 'wake up' historical storage. The films, shot in the 1970s to 1990s, were removed from cryogenic storage at -4 ℃ and defreeze then restored and processed by artists and technicians from Unitel Germany and NHK Japan, and finally presented in 8K quality with 22.2ch multi-channel surround sound, to showcase the impressive audio-visual effects that cannot be achieved by any TV or DVDs.
To make the screening perfect, the presenter used the world's first 8K high brightness DLP 37,000 lumen laser projector and Astro Spatial Audio immersive engine with ezacoustics speakers for the first time in China, showing the precious films with the most advanced audio-visual technology. |
