On the evening of June 25th, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra 2023 China Tour came to a perfect end at the Shanghai Oriental Art Centre. The tour was conducted by the Chief Conductor Nikolay Alekseev, and on the 150th anniversary of Rachmaninoff's birth, along with pianist Daniel Kharitonov, the orchestra performed Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 and Symphony No. 2. Cities on tour include Beijing, Tianjin, Wuhan, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Changsha and Shanghai. The average attendance for the performances was at 99.7%, with extra seats for four performances and a maximum attendance of 103%.
